Rodney Hood 25 Points Full Highlights (12/14/2016)

Here’s an honest question: has Rodney Hood peaked?

Hood’s already 24. In NBA terms, that basically means that he’s only going to get worse from here on out. If he gets lucky, maybe he’ll maintain his 15 ppg for a few years until his aging body can no longer handles the minutes being forced upon it.

Also, Hood was drafted late in the first round. Everyone knows that the later you get drafted, the lower potential to get better you have. Players drafted in the second round get worse every single time they step on the court, and the situation is little better for late first-rounders.

Hood is kind of tall for a shooting guard at 6’8″. That’s another bad sign, because biggers dudes have worse longevity. Remember how long Greg Oden lasted? Even worse: Sim Bhullar. Tall dudes put such stress on their bodies that their knees becoming ticking time bombs. Tick…tick…tick…BOOM! That’s the sound of Hood’s knees exploding after one too many dunk attempts.

Enjoy the current iteration of Hood while it lasts, Jazz fans. It’s all downhill from here.
