I don’t think Finney-Smith’s trend of constant career-highs will continue for much longer. 17 is a high bar to reach when you are scoring under 10 points per 36. He’ll probably end up with 20 at some point unless the Mavericks magically become good again. That’s about the peak for him as I see it. Dallas is not so lacking in talent that they need an undrafted rookie to chuck tons of shots, they would rather he just do all the little things and take advantage of scoring opportunities as he sees them.
