I don’t know who Polish people are going to project their nationalism onto once Marcin Gortat is out of the league. Granted, he’s only 32, so the Polish Hammer has a few more years left, but is there any young Polish talent in the pipeline?
Don’t even talk to me about Olek Czyz. Similarly refrain from mentioning Szymon Szewczyk. Talk about a Fran Vasquez situation with that guy.
I’ve been trying to do some research, but it’s hard, because I can’t type these names for the life of me. Do they put the “Z” key right in the middle of Polish keyboards? They should, because my left pinky is getting a serious workout right now. So, yeah, doing research, and I come across this dude named Przemek Karnowski.
Is he the next Gortat? I need answers. Gortat is regressing, and if Karnowski is not the next Gortat, then I need you tell me who IS the next Gortat. Karnowski looks kind of fat. Maybe the Polish Shaq? I’m so bad at evaluating talent, and you know I’m not going to subject myself to NCAA basketball just to see some short white dudes fail to make short three-pointers while Karnowski lumbers around and farts on himself.
