Nikola Jokic 27 Points/9 Assists Full Highlights (12/19/2016)

It’s a shame that Nikola Jokic fell one assist short of a triple-double tonight. A real shame. It would have been nice for one of the best passing bigs in the league to have his skill validated by an arbitrary statistical feat. Oh well. A tied career-high is pretty good too. And the Nuggets won, which is the most important thing of all (just kidding individual stats are way more important/way more fun). Everyone was happy in Denver tonight. Everyone except…

Jusuf Nurkic.

Nurkic looked like he would rather be anywhere else than where he was (stapled to the bench) during tonight’s game. Once you get done watching these highlights, go back and watch the first half of them again, where you can see Nurkic’s body language on the bench. Or, I can just straight up tell you, he sat there looking miserable, not reacting in any way to the positive things going on on the court in front of him. Now, I don’t expect over-the-top Malik Beasley-esque hysterics after every made layup, but a polite golf clap isn’t unreasonable, and I only counted one of those in this vid. Not convinced of his bad attitude? Check out the missed Jokic-Nurkic high-five at the end, after Jokic’s last bucket. You can’t tell me that wasn’t intentional on Nurkic’s part. It must suck to be benched for not being good enough.

I don’t even know if I’m joking with this description.
