Unlike Nikola Vucevic, who I have been ignoring because he hasn’t been that good, I’ve been ignoring Evan Fournier for no good reason at all. Sorry French people! He must be falling victim to the curse that plagues all former scrubs: once you actually are good instead of just a bunch of “potential”, people stop caring about you and move on to the next scrub with “potential”.
When I started doing vids for the Fournicator, they would get tons of views even if he scored only 8 points. Now, if I did a vid of him scoring 8, I would get my membership in the Highlight-Makers Club revoked. Instantly. We have standards, don’t you know. Those that don’t are excluded.
These highlights are a lot better than anything he did in Denver, but I can’t tell that French people care all that much anymore. Too busy thinking about Timothe Luwawu and Frank Ntilikina, I guess.
