I take many steps to ensure that my Philippines-based viewership is kept well fed and happy. For my channel, the Philippines account for the second most traffic of any country, after the good old US of A. 8.4% of my total minutes watched coming from a country that loves basketball but is cursed with being too short to play it on an international level.
I lied when I said that I take many steps to ensure that my Philippines-based viewership is kept well fed and happy. I don’t. The only thing I could really do in that regard would be to make Jordan Clarkson highlights every single time he plays, no matter how many points he scored or how good he actually performed. Obviously, that hasn’t been the case this year, because this is only my third Clarkson video.
My expectations have risen for Clarkson, and thus, my threshold for his highlight-worthiness. No longer is 18 points enough. 20 probably isn’t either. 25 definitely is though, especially if he makes tons of threes and no free-throws. Like in this game. He got hot early, hitting 4 quick threes, before cooling off like the rest of the team and only scoring 13 more the rest of the game.
Not complaining, though. It’s still a bunch of threes going in the hole.
