Right after I started making these highlights, after I saw his first two weak jams, I got to thinking: could Devin Booker poster someone even if he wanted to?
I was uncertain. I couldn’t recall any particularly good dunks from Booker’s rookie season, nor could I recall any evidence that he could really jump at all. I started doing some preliminary YouTube research, but I only found a bunch more lame Booker Report dunks. I was briefly excited after one vid, but it turned out the dunker in that video was the OTHER Devin Booker. Oops.
Imagine my surprise as I get to the end of the game, and Booker throws down a huge slamwich right on Kyle Wiltjer’s scrubby face. There goes my question then. The answer is resoundingly YES, Devin Booker can poster someone if he wants to.
The other dunks in this vid still kind of suck, though. Does he only dunk hard if there’s someone in the way?
