The Pistons allegedly held a players-only meeting where they all plainly stated their disdain for Reggie Jackson’s style of play. Then after the meeting they all went out and told the media that the grievances were aired with civility and that Reggie Jackson was understanding of, and sensitive to, his teammates’ concerns.
DownToBuck knows what really went down. Because DownToBuck was there at the meeting. Disguised as a locker. And here’s what I witnessed: Kentavious Caldwell-Pope actually PUNCHING Reggie Jackson and having to be reluctantly restrained by teammates who looked like they wished they were the ones who got do the punching. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope getting released by those same teammates to continue his assault. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope calling Reggie Jackson “Brandon Knight 2.0” while bodyslamming his prone form from Andre Drummond’s shoulders WWE-style. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope yelling “Ish Smith starts or I refuse to dress for games” while everybody cheers and Ish Smith runs around high-fiving everybody. Reggie Jackson in tears on the ground while getting mocked and ridiculed by those he once called his friends.
Those are all things I witnessed from my position in the corner of the room with fake leaves all over my head. I’m just reporting them to you honestly with no adjustments or revisions. Just straight facts and truths right to your door, that’s what DTB is about. And the truth is that Reggie Jackson was eventually knocked unconscious placed in a fake casket and buried alive outside the Palace at Auburn Hills, only to be rescued by a sympathetic janitor who witnessed the whole disgusting scene.
