Serge Ibaka 20 Points/3 Blocks Full Highlights (12/28/2016)

So Serge Ibaka had twenty points in the first half of this game against the Hornets. That’s really good. Great even. That’s an amount of points that should convince your teammates and your coach that you need to be the main dude on offense in the second half.

I mean, if a guy scores twenty in a half, I expect forty in the game. Okay, maybe not forty. I understand that, while math works that way, the NBA doesn’t always work that way. But thirty points for sure is a reasonable expectation after a dude just goes off for twenty in the first half and all signs indicate that he can’t be stopped by anybody. Thirty or twenty-five at the very minimum. Or at least 21. You would expect the guy to score at least one more point in two more quarters of play after such a dominant offensive showing.

Nope. Serge Ibaka had twenty in the first half, and ended the game with the same amount. The only thing he did in the third quarter was block a shot and miss some jumpers. Then he didn’t play in the fourth because the Magic were getting BTFO the frick out. I wonder why they gave up that 28-2 run to the Hornets in the third? It’s because they weren’t running plays for Ibaka every time down the court like they should have been. Case closed. Where’s my coaching position?
