I don’t know what to believe anymore. Are the Suns tanking now? Are they trying to win for no reason? Sometimes tanking moves backfire in that they make a team better. Maybe this is one of those times? In any case, my hope is that the Suns are moving away from Brandon Knight. With the position the Suns are in right now, there is no reason for Knight to be playing; he’s obviously not in their future. It remains to be seen if Ulis is or not, but without giving him minutes, they’d never find out.
Minutes for Ulis is an excellent first step towards a brighter future. The next step: give more minutes to Alan Williams, then trade Tyson Chandler for a pick or two and sign Sim Bhullar. Tyler Ulis and Sim Bhullar would be the next Muggsy Bogues and Manute Bol. Make it happen.
