Josh Richardson’s shooting percentages are way down from last year, probably because he’s been thrust into a starting shooting guard role that he’s not quite ready for. Even while making 25 of 47 field goals in his last three games, he’s hovering around 40% shooting, and his three-point percentage has dropped off ominously.
That’s okay for now, though. The Heat are not competing for anything this year other than the chance to draft Markelle Fultz or whoever else is at the top of everybody’s draft boards. They might as well develop the heck out of their young talent by way of force-feeding them minutes. I mean, the only way J-Rich will become the next Dwyane Wade is if they give him the minutes that D-Wade got.
And the roids. He needs the same roid regimen that D-Wade had. That should help.
