DTB’S OFFICIAL HOOK SHOT LEADERBOARDS WATCH:
Andre Drummond is still leading the hook shot derby this season, having converted 109 such shots this season. When we last visited this topic, Hassan Whiteside and Robin Lopez were tied for second place, but the winds of hook shot wizardry have changed direction, and Whiteside is now in possession of sole second place, having made 84 hook shots to Lopez’ 81. Worryingly for fans of the popcorn-haired hook shot master, Karl-Anthony Towns is just one hook shot behind Lopez, so soon we might even see Fropez drop out of the top three, which would obviously be utter blasphemy.
However, Robin Lopez leads the league in APHSM (Arc per hook shot made) at -5.3 inches. That’s right: his shots have negative arc. That’s how flat they are. They’re flatter than flat. He also leads the league in HSRSHP (Hook shots resembling a sky-hook percentage), with 40% of his hook shots looking exactly like Kareem’s sky-hook except way flatter and way less aesthetic.
Thus concludes DTB’S OFFICIAL HOOK SHOT LEADERBOARDS WATCH.
