Julius Randle 23 Points/6 Assists Full Highlights (2/28/2017)

I think every single assist that Julius Randle got in this game was off a dribble handoff. No fancy passes in between defenders, no alley-oops, no cross-court bounces for easy dunks, just Julius dribbling his big body into the defender to act as a screen while his teammate shoots it. I mean, that’s a great play and it’s a great way to get assists, but it’s not like a Nikola Jokic level of diming your teammates.

Also, Julius seems to have taken the lessons of my video descriptions to heart, and all his points came in the paint. Not only were they all paint points, but they were paint points acquired without having to post up and shoot a crummy hook shot. He basically hustled for two-thirds of his points and went coast-to-coast for the other third. I still hate him unreasonably for a.) being a Laker and b.) having a lumpy face but I admit that he is polishing his game to the point where he is a legitimately good player, not just a bad player with potential. What has this world come to?
