Ersan Ilyasova 18 Points Full Highlights (3/1/2017)

After a steady 7-year stint with the Milwaukee Bucks, Ersan Ilyasova is now on his fifth team in two seasons. I don’t know. I liked him. A lot. Apparently, though, the idea of having Ersan on your team is better than the reality of having him on your team, hence the incessant trading. True stretch-fours are still a rarity in the NBA, and there is a steady supply of teams who want such a player. He’s the type of player who seems to fit in any lineup, at least until you try playing him, and you find out how limited he is.

He was playing frickin’ GOOD in Philly, though. Surely he could have fetched a greater return than Tiago Splitter and some crappy picks? After the Hawks traded Kyle Korver, they discovered they needed outside shooting, and should have been forced to pay through the nose for a stretchy big like the Ersanator.

This is his first good game donning the Hawks neoned-to-heck triangle jerseys. His first two games were pretty bad, but this one is pretty good. He even did a Dirk-like fadeaway with the master himself watching. Who cares if the defender was Yogi Ferrell? That doesn’t matter. The fadeaway itself is what matters, and it was cool as heck.
