Tyler Ulis 14 Points/7 Assists Full Highlights (3/3/2017)

There aren’t enough “dribble in and around the paint forever until you find someone open or you can lay it up” guards in the NBA. Not nearly. Everyone wants to shoot threes nowadays, no one wants to circle underneath the basket 3 times before finding a teammate for a midrange jumper. Steve Nash won a couple of MVPs doing that, don’t forget. Not like you, as a Suns fan almost assuredly, need reminding of what Nash did or did not do.

Tyler Ulis is here to bring back the Nash to Phoenix. Kind of. It’s not a very close comparison, actually, but I’m going to make it anyway because I feel an excitement I haven’t felt for the Suns in a long time when I watch Ulis do his crafty moves. I certainly haven’t ever felt this way with Eric Bledsoe. And especially not with Brandon Knight. Has Knight ever made a good pass in his life? I can’t remember any.
