This video contains way more Brandon Jennings than I was expecting. Infinity percent more, because I wasn’t expecting any. Here’s how it goes usually for three-point shooters on the Wizards: stand outside the arc, and wait for John Wall to pass it to you so you can shoot it. That’s what I was expecting in this video. John Wall mercilessly dominating the Magic with crisp passing to an infernally-hot Bojan Bogdanovic. Instead, it’s Jennings dominating the Magic (former team alert) aided by Bogey. Which leads to the question: why does John Wall hate Bojan Bogdanvoic? Or, perhaps more alarmingly, why does the whole Wizards team hate Bojan Bogdanovic except for fellow newcomer Brandon Jennings?
Doesn’t matter, tonight. Bojangles just canned 8 of 10 from deep, reminiscent of that time Trevor Ariza canned 10 of them with the Wizards. He joints an exclusive club of 8-three single-game players this year, players like Stephen Curry, Kyrie Irving, Klay Thompson, James Harden, Nick Young, uh… Yogi Ferrell and uh…. Avery Bradley. Elite three-point shooting company he now finds himself in. Maybe if John Wall didn’t hate him we could be looking at challenging the record of 13, but we can’t have everything we want in the world.
