I almost didn’t make this video because Ricky Rubio only shot 3-of-10 from the field and mostly used free throws to score his points. Since it is my well-publicized opinion that free throws are totally lame and boring and drag down the quality of any highlight video they appear in, I was tempted to say “forget it” and leave Ricky’s third straight double-double unhighlighted. After all, I’m all about buckets and Ricky barely got any of them himself.
Then I remembered how handsome Ricky is, and how he had thirteen assists, and my conscience told me that I had to make this video. So I made it. And it turns out that, not only was Ricky extremely handsome and enchanting for the entire three-minute runtime of this video, but he also had some pretty good passes that almost negate the fact that he wasted my time with eleven free throws.
