After watching Davis Bertans shoot three-pointers in this video I have decided that I am going to devote the rest of my life to seeking out, consuming, and disseminating video clips of him doing that very thing. I didn’t know a big guy could shoot it so purely. Is it because he doesn’t have ACL’s anymore? Is that somehow an advantage when cultivating a jumpshot so beautiful that Michelangelo would use it as inspiration for the Sistine Chapel painting, if he were alive today?
So from now on I won’t be doing highlights unless they of the Davis Bertans variety. Instead, I will try to attend every game he plays in person and hire a TV production crew to film him at all times just in case he happens to take a jumper. The resulting highlight videos are going to be so through-the-roof that I might have to charge for them. In the meantime, I’ll scour YouTube for his highlight videos and download them all to my hard drive so I can play them on my TV 24 hours a day (with whatever audio is present in the videos replaced with instrumental jazz, of course). I’m already getting excited for this new, permanent lifestyle change.
