Skal Labissiere Career High 32 Points Full Highlights (3/15/2017)

The Kings commentators, after yet another one of Skal Labissiere’s impressive buckets, claimed that if there was re-draft of this class, Skal would go in the top 3 or 4. After this dominating performance by him, I’m not even sure that they’re wrong. How many other dudes drafted this year have scored 30? None.

It’s easy to overreact after seeing what Skal did tonight. Really easy. Kings fans are almost certainly overreacting harder than when WCS scored 29. In fact, I think I’m overreacting right now, but it’s hard to tell. It could be that I’m actually reacting the appropriate amount to the mind-blowing offensive exhibition I just witnessed.

It’s just one game. I realize that. But he’s been showing flashes in the last few games for the Kings, flashes of his offensive potential. This isn’t a totally random out-of-the-blue 30-plus-point game; alright maybe it is. So what? All Skal needed was the touches and the confidence from the coaching staff and the minutes, and with DeMarcus Cousins gone, he’s getting it. Would it be overreacting to say I never felt this way after watching DMC highlights?
