The Timberwolves might be up-and-coming, but they couldn’t halt the up-and-comingness of the Heat, who have looked unstoppable for a while now but just recently dragged themselves into a playoff seed. Tyler “The Gap-Toothed Assassin” Johnson has been a big part of both their unstoppableness and their up-and-comingness, since he is himself both of those things and proved it with a 9-of-13 shooting display that included a pair of sweet dunks. I might have secretly thought that his contract was a bit of an overpay by the Nets and that the Heat might have made a mistake by matching, but I don’t think that anymore. See, I can admit that I’m wrong sometimes.
Now what I’m looking forward to is the Heat knocking LeBron and the Cavs out of the playoffs in the first round. There would be so many storylines going on during that series that the internet would explode and I would be the only one with enough sanity remaining to make highlight videos of the whole affair.
