The Nuggets have two legit 6MOTY of the year candidates on their team, Will “The Thrill” Barton and Wilson “Ill Will” Chandler, but both of them have started too many games to be reasonably called a “sixth man”. Barton probably wouldn’t win it anyway because he doesn’t score enough points compared to the other players in the race, but it’s just another example of how little coach Malone cares for his players. Exhibit B: he doesn’t even rap the scouting reports to his team, he just reads them off normally, or, even worse, just gives them to the players to read themselves.
Since Barton won’t get a 6MOTY of the year trophy this year, I have invented a new end-of-year award that he should win easily: the SDWOHSOTY award. Since I know you’re too dumb to decipher my new acronym, the meaning of which being plainly obvious to anyone possessing even half of a brain with which to form cogent thoughts, I will spell it out for you: Skinny Dude Who Overcame His Skinniness Of The Year award. Barton is skinny and doesn’t seem to be filling out as the seasons go by, so he is the perfect man for this award. You could give it to Corey Brewer but he never really “overcame” his skinniness because he still sucks. Barton is the clear-cut choice to receive my new award.
Now I just have to make a trophy. It might or might not involve covering an old soda bottle in toothpaste and putting it in the freezer to solidify it. Spoiler alert.
