According to DTB’S OFFICIAL CRITERIA FOR BEING CONSIDERED A GOOD BASKETBALL PLAYER, that means Nik Stauskas can be considered a good basketball player! Are you excited? You really shouldn’t be, because DTB’S OFFICIAL CRITERIA are noted for their shoddiness and their inability to distinguish good players from bad.
Still, this has to mean something for Stauskas. This is only his fifth 20-point scoring effort, and for two of them to come back-to-back is so far from precedented for him that it might be considered “un”-precedented. I haven’t come away from the highlights for either of the games overwhelmingly impressed, but I bet I would if I watched every 76er and had a much clearer picture in my mind of how bad he sucks most of the time.
