How does the phrase “game-winning free throws” sound to you? Does that sound like something you’d want to watch? You think you want to see a dude shooting fifteen-foot undefended set-shots in lieu of a real game-winner? Does that sound fun to you? Watching free-throws to win the game? Because if that sounds like a good time to you, I’ve created a custom itinerary for your life:
1. Watch this video
2. Leave my channel and never come back
I couldn’t tell if Ricky was even getting fouled by a Pacer or by one of his own teammates, or if he was just flopping, when he got three free throws with three seconds left in the game. I didn’t show the replays in the video because a.) they weren’t helpful and b.) I only show replays of cool things, like dunks or injuries. The Pacers’ fans were booing a lot but you would expect them to even if the foul was very blatant, so that doesn’t help us make a determination on the nature of the foul. But really, it shouldn’t matter, because no sane person would want to watch a video with only four field goals from its subject in three and a half minutes. Not to mention…”game-winning free throws”. Barf.
Wake me up from my death when Ricky makes a game-winning dunk. Until then, no. Just no.
