Marcus Morris 28 Points Full Highlights (3/30/2017)

After Marcus Morris had that 37-point game a month ago, he’s fallen into a big old slumpy-wump. And with him, the Pistons, who have only won 2 out of their last 10 as they try to make the playoffs. What horrible timing! Morris is kinda-sorta their first option on offense, maybe-ish. Even if he isn’t, he’s one of their leading scorers, and his production is not easily replaced by their bench.

Detroit needed all 28 of his points tonight to beat the Nets, who are garbage, and keep their slim playoff hopes alive. If Morris is gonna come out of his slump, now is a good time to do it instead of a month from now while he’s sitting at home watching the playoffs with his bro.

Now is the point in the description where I wonder where it all went so wrong for the Pistons. I’ve probably come up with some reasonable-sounding answers in past descriptions, but I can’t come up with any at this very moment. It’s tempting to blame Henry Ellenson, though.
