Jerian Grant 15 Points/5 Assists Full Highlights (4/6/2017)

The Bulls have too many point guards. The players know it, the FO knows it, the fans know it, everybody knows it. Rondo, Carter-Williams, Payne, Canaan, Grant. A whole lineup of PGs is possible for them, which should never be the case.

So it makes sense that if Jerian Grant isn’t playing well, he isn’t going to get to play at all. He was somehow the starter for a streak of 20 or so games, but was abruptly benched after putting up two straight goose eggs. The Bulls still have playoff aspirations, and Rajon Rondo at this point is the better option. It was inevitable, looking back on things, that this lineup change would happen. How long can you start a guy like Grant on a team like the Bulls? Not indefinitely.

Now Grant is mad. Mad at the universe that has unjustly slighted him. So mad that he played 30 minutes in place of the now-injured Rondo and had a productive game. That’s how mad he was, and let me tell you, he was a terror to behold.
