Okay, now I REALLY regret wasting my time with those two “Jerian Grant 15 Points/5 Assists” videos. Those vids barely got any views in the first place, and now their view counts are locked in place for all time, because no one could conceivably ever want to watch them ever again. I mean, it’s not like I even like Jerian Grant that much. I thought there was some residual hype left over for him that would make those vids worth it. Here’s a hint: there isn’t. Hype for Jerian Grant is over.
It may be rekindled a little bit after this performance by him, which is legitimately good. Not just okay. Almost a career-high in points, really a career-high in assists, all done in three quarters. If the Magic didn’t suck so bad, we would’ve witnessed a 20-10 game for sure. Maybe even 20-15. I don’t know if this latest stretch of games by him means that he’s actually decent or anything, but it does mean this: Bulls fans are gonna be pegging him as the backup PG for next season, forgetting how forgettable he looked for the majority of the season.
