The Cavaliers lose again. Is LeBron’s parting gift to Miami a promise that he will never suit up in that arena again? Seems like it. So at least in this one, Cleveland’s intent was to lose, which makes it not as traumatizing as those other ones.
Kyle Korver did the most Korver-y stuff tonight than he has in a game since February. It wasn’t enough for a win, but as everyone already knows, his team wasn’t exactly caring about that tonight. It was good to see him do a good amount of stuff again, and now is a good time for his mini-resurgence. Good. Good good. I’m not going to sit here at say obviously wrong stuff like “If the Cavs want to get to the Finals again, Korver needs to step it up”, but the general idea isn’t bad. If he can get back some post-injury mojo for the playoffs, it’s just one more rusty weapon in Lue’s aging arsenal.
