Tyler Ulis 27 Points/6 Assists Full Highlights (4/11/2017)

That’s it. It’s all over. The Suns finish with a 24-58 record, the worst in the West. There are some positives to take away from the situation, though: Tyler Ulis looks like a decent starter going forward. T.J. Warren is the next M.J. except he’s bigger. Marquese Chriss wasn’t a bust. Those are all positives. The negatives (Brandon Knight being the worst player in the league, Dragan Bender not showing much, the name of the Suns’ arena being stupid and too long) can all be fixed with trades and patience.

Ulis is a hero to average-sized men everywhere. He himself is both skinny and short compared to the average NBA player, but he makes it work with his crafty in-between game, and averaged 20/7 in the month of April. The Suns never played defense so inserting Ulis into the starting lineup didn’t really inform us whether he can ever fit into a team that does play defense, but rule #1 for DTB is that I don’t care about defense. Rule #2 for DTB is I do care about defense insofar as it forces coaches to bench players who otherwise have enormous talent on offense. Being a short scoring machine worked for Isaiah Thomas, so I see no reason it can’t work for Ulis.

DTB’S OFFICIAL 2017-18 SUNS WIN COUNT PREDICTION: 35.
