These are the last Elfrid Payton highlights of the season. Finally. This guy is incapable of having a good game that doesn’t result in an overlong vid. Too many assists, for one thing. Can he tone down the passing a bit next season? Another thing, not enough threes. The good thing about threes is that they allow players to accumulate more points quicker. Payton hit one this game, which is more than usual, but otherwise it was a whole bunch of jumpers and layups.

Payton basically took over the game at the end with those shots, giving the Magic fans who were somehow still alive something to think about for the whole offseason. Now that their GM is gone, and they have what might be a franchise talent in Aaron Gordon, and they have their PG to set up their franchise talent, maybe things are looking up?
