The Bucks aren’t going to win many games where Tony Snell is the only player who shows up. Did I type “many”? I meant “any”. The Bucks aren’t going to win any games where Tony Snell is the only player who shows up. Not trying to diss Snell here, because I continue to be extremely pleased with how solid and not-MCW he is, but he’s not gonna carry any team anywhere for any length of time.
The Raptors fanbase’s cry of “why do scrubs always go off on us?” is valid once again in this game, but for once it didn’t matter, because no one else went off. Giannis sucked. Brogdon sucked for like the first time this season. Middleton sucked. It was all suck except for Snell, who even played good D on DeRozan but got torched anyway. All those people who were claiming this series was over after last game’s blowout where forgetting one key fact: the Bucks are extremely suck-prone. It’s entirely possible that they put up two more horrible games after this one and lose the series.
And that’s okay. Because Tony Snell is not Michael Carter-Williams, and that’s all that matters.
