My faith in Malcolm Brogdon’s ultra-solid solidity was shaken the game previous to this one. I didn’t think it was possible, but he had a BAD game. The whole reason that he’s even in the conversation for ROY is because he never has bad games. Just games where he’s kind of invisible. But last game, he sucked. He was making bad passes, missing his shots, doing all the stuff that players do when they are cursed by the suck. The Bucks lost that game, and I blamed Brog-Dog.
Turns out, that was probably wrong of me, because Brog-Dog played pretty well tonight and the Bucks still lost. He hit a bunch of threes, more than enough to make up for that crappy failed wrap-up attempt he had on Norman Powell. So I have to find someone else to blame. I bet I would look really smart if I blamed Giannis, like, I must know what I’m talking about if I think the dude who scored 30 points was actually the reason for the defeat. Yeah. Let’s blame Giannis. Man, I’m a genius.
