The only thing that would make this cooler (besides spiked death pits and a basketball made out of lava) is if Bobby Brown’s eleven points were part of some kind of heroic comeback by the Rockets. Scoring that many points so quickly at the end of a blowout is fun too, but the thing about T-Mac’s “13 in 35” is that he was being clutch. Brown, in this video, is just being a chucker. He didn’t accrue any other counting stats, he just took seven shots and made five of them.
Playoff rotations are pretty tight, but, given this impromptu scoring clinic put on by Tubby Kobe, I could foresee him getting a few minutes in the second quarter of the next game if Lou Williams and Eric Gordon are having off nights. Probably not, but it could happen. Remember, this guy is like T-Mac and Kobe combined. How could you NOT give him minutes?
