D’Angelo Russell 30 Points Nets Debut Full Highlights (10/18/2017)

I, for one, am interested to see what happens when D’Angelo Russell gets transported from an immature, out-of-control locker room situation to a locker room that’s held down by scary-looking veterans (DeMarre Carroll) and which doesn’t have as many highly-touted young prospects populating it. Opportunities for illicitly recording teammate’s private conversations will certainly be less, and, depending on the atmosphere of the team, it might not even cross D’Angelo’s mind that he should be creating such illicit recordings.

I mean, what would he record anyway? Timofey Mozgov talking to his mom in Russian? DeMarre Carroll’s low, rumbling, unintelligible voice saying god knows what? Jarrett Allen discussing afro maintenance strategies? Rondae Hollis-Jefferson getting ribbed by his teammates for his utterly broken jumpshot and mistaken belief that he possesses ball-handling ability? Those are all quite tame compared to the naughty, sordid details of Nick Young’s personal life.

Free from the distractions of the diva teammates he had in Los Angeles, I see no reason at all why D’Angelo can’t score thirty points every game this season.
