If there’s anything positive to take away from the Bulls’ spanking, 94-133, at the hands of the Spurs last night, it’s that Kris Dunn scored fifteen points on a varied selection of shots: layups, midrange, the three, he did a little bit of it all. Just forget that it took him fifteen shots to score fifteen points, and also forget about his paltry three assists; we should be happy that Kris Dunn managed to not look like total Bustaroni and Cheese like he has for the entirety of his career up to this point.
I feel like Stacey King is going to lose his mind by the end of the season. He’s already getting frustrated with the lack of talent on the team, especially with the team’s inability to get good shots for themselves, and it’s only going to get worse as the losses pile up. Maybe LaVine’s return will alleviate his despair a little bit, but I’m thinking that by the time the All-Star break rolls around, King will just openly roast any Bulls player who he thinks isn’t worthy of donning the iconic red jersey. Maybe if he did that I would actually want to watch Bulls games.
