Twenty-two points for Kyle Kuzma is great. It’s nice. I like it. But after he had eighteen in the first half alone, I expected a little bit more. I’m not saying he has to set new career highs every game, but I am saying that he should score more points for my entertainment. The customer is always right, and in this case the customer wants to see Kuzma get at least ten or twelve points in the second half, not a measly four.
The customer also wants more dunks. Kuzma got off to a great start in the department by throwing down a big-boy two-hander in the first play of the game, but then his dunk production fell off to nothing. If he’s just going to be a big tease by showing these things off early and then withholding them for the rest of the game, I might vote with my wallet and just not tune in to Lakers games anymore.
Just kidding. I’m too busy making highlight videos to regularly tune in to Lakers games, so they’re not going to miss my wallet very much at all. Still, the point stands: Kuzma needs to score thirty every game and he should dunk it more than once in those games please.
