Unlike some other individual performances that occurred last night, this one is definitely, unambiguously, and unarguably a REVENGE GAME. You know why? I’ll tell you why.
The Cavaliers never really gave Joe Harris the chance he deserved. At least, that’s how I remember it. It’s possible they gave him chances and he sucked during his chances so they stopped giving him chances after that. I would rather not have to go digging through box-scores to determine what actually happened there. But the truth is that Joe Harris went to Brooklyn and his potential was unleashed, and now he’s showing the Cavaliers what a terrible mistake they made by letting him go for nothing.
Don’t you think the Cavaliers wish they had a mini-Korver who can play shooting guard rather than J.R. Smith or Iman Shumpert? Of course they do. They just tasted Harris’ whole load and they want more of his loads, but they can’t have any more loads because Harris is being mini-Klay Thompson for the Nets right now.
Yep. Definite REVENGE GAME.
