T.J. Warren made a three in this game. His fourth such bucket of the season. Let’s ignore for now that that one make led him to take a bunch more of them, which all bricked. Let’s focus on the positive instead: Warren is now significantly over 10 percent shooting from deep on the year.
I don’t know what happened there. He looked semi-promising in that area in his second season, but it’s totally fallen apart since then. His form has regressed, it seems like. Perhaps he is destined to be one of those players whose sweet midrange touch simply refuses to be extended. I am not willing to give up on it quite so easily, but for now he can be a 20ppg scorer just by somehow scoring layups all the time.
