All the potential thumbnail images I gathered for this vid told me the same thing: Kenneth Faried is looking OLD. Not super old, but what happened to that youthful face he always had? Did his mistreatment at the hands of the Nuggets distort it? Or did he hit 28 years old and immediately sprout a bunch of wrinkles?
It’s easy to still think of Faried as some sort of young talent with potential. Fact is, though, he’s been in the league for 7 seasons. Where has the time gone? It seems like just yesterday he was catching a behind-the-head alley-oop for his first career bucket. Rudy Fernandez threw that pass, if I remember right. RUDY FERNANDEZ.
Faried, as I alluded to earlier, hasn’t been receiving his usual minutes this year as the Nuggets seek to add more shooting from their bigs or something. Yeah, Trey Lyles is definitely gonna be better than Faried. Snort. With the injury to Jokic, someone needs to fill up minutes, and they basically had no choice but to play him. He’s been producing, at least a little bit, and now he has his first 20-burger of the season. Are you excited?
