Yogi Ferrell 23 Points Full Highlights (12/22/2017)

Put down whatever beverage you are sipping, firmly grasp your ears and hold your head steady, because I am about to blow your mind:

This is Yogi Ferrell’s second-highest scoring game as an NBA player.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it yet again: that nationally-televised 32-point 9-three explosion back in February really warped people’s perception of this dude. All of a sudden, he was some amazing young player snatched up from the D-League, the point guard of the future for Dallas.

Turns out, he’s just okay. A pretty good player who likes to shoot more than pass as a 6-footer. With Dennis Smith Jr. now in the picture, he’s not the guaranteed starter, but he’s still getting good minutes. And I said he likes to shoot more than pass, but this year he’s not doing a ton of either. So, yeah. 23 points. His third game in the 20-point range, if you need another statistic that shows how that 32-point game was really one of the most insane things to happen in the NBA last season.
