Austin Rivers Career High 38 Points Full Highlights (12/23/2017)

“Dear Diary,

Today after the game, Daddy came up to me and held me by the shoulders and told me that I’m playing really really good as the “fokill point” of the team. I was so happy when he said that, because I’ve been trying hard to play good and make him proud, but sometimes he ignores me because he has so much work to do for the team.

After I scored 36 points yesterday, I tried to go into his office to talk to him, but the door was closed and when I opened it, daddy got mad and said he was busy. I just wanted to tell him how much I liked him being my coach, even though he can be mean sometimes. But today I didn’t even have to go to his office, he told me I was a good “fokill point” in front of the whole team and how it was a good thing that I “stepped up” and that he had never seen me play so good before.

Since he was in a good mood I almost told him about how I was sorry that I purposely injured Blake, but then I decided not to because that’s secret. I didn’t mean to hurt him that bad, I swear, but now that Blake doesn’t hog the ball all the time, I get to play up to my “potenshul”. I don’t know if I spelled that right, Diary, but it means that I’m scoring more points than I ever did.

Instead I told him that I’m ready to be the leader now. Daddy is always talking to us about how there needs to be a leader. When I said that he told me that DeAndre is the leader because he’s been around for a long time. I guess that’s okay for now. DeAndre is really cool, he sometimes shows me these videos on his phone with girls with no clothes on, and I get a funny feeling in my pants. DeAndre said it’s called a “boaner”. He’s not mean to me like Blake sometimes is and he doesn’t make fun when I don’t know something.

Soon I’ll be Daddy’s favorite for real!

-Austin”
