I just finished up my dunks of the month video for December, really great vid by the way, you should check it out, anyway, the most important thing that I learned from that video was this:
Jarrett Allen really loves getting dunked on.
It must be a fetish or something for him, because he was the receiving party in more posters than any other player, and it wasn’t close. He did have a few nice dunks of his own that made the cut, but it might have been a 5-1 ratio in terms of getting posterized versus posterizing.
It happened again to him tonight; after having dunked hard on Bismack Biyombo, Biyombo got his revenge by slamming Allen into the next spatial dimension. That’s the price one pays, I guess, for trying to challenge everything at the rim. No shame, and really, he’s increasing the entertainment value of dunks of the month videos by a significant amount. I should be thanking him for being so ridiculously long.
