Just like I’ve been punishing inefficient players by denying them a spot on my channel when they have a high-scoring, low-efficiency game, I should also start rewarding players who put up mediocre scoring totals on exceptional efficiency. First in line to get a highlight video under my new, more egalitarean system: Kent “Bazed God” Bazemore, who scored twenty points on 7-of-8 shooting.
I may or may not have been swayed by how “full” Bazemore’s box score is: he dropped a line of 20/3/4/4/0 with five turnovers ans six fouls. With that kind of impact on the game, both positively and negatively, the question isn’t “Why would DTB bother making a highlight video for this dude?”, but “How could DTB resist such a compelling performance from the Bazed God?”
I probably should have resisted it because this video, along with essentially every other Bazemore video in the long and tormented history of this channel, will fail to attract even 1,000 views. It doesn’t even matter that he showed a wide variety of scoring tricks in this game. 1,000 views = a misplaced pipe dream.
