I don’t know what the deal is, but I don’t even really like Jrue Holiday. His brother Justin is so much cooler. Taller, better hair, looks like an emoji, he’s just got so many positive attributes. What does Jrue have. A laughable All-Star appearance, and the chance to be part of a big 2.5 with DeMarcus Cousins and Anthony Davis.
I also like Aaron Holiday better than Jrue, and I don’t follow college basketball even a little bit. He’s gonna be a beast for sure. Just wait.
Holiday had 31 points tonight (asterisk alert: the game went into overtime), but was overshadowed as he often is by the Davis/Cousins semi-nightly insane statline exposition. Jrue’s final output of 31/5/4/4/1 looks good until you look at Davis’ 48 and 17 or Cousins’ 15/16/5/7/3. It even looks good in this highlight video unless you just sauntered over from a Davis highlight vid. If you haven’t watched that yet, don’t do it, because it will make you mad that you wasted your time with this one.
