It was nice of the Suns to dust off Greg Monroe against the Bucks, so his old fans could see what he’s up to. Nice, but also misleading, because if they wanted to present a more accurate picture of what he’s doing with the Suns they would leave him on the bench for the whole game for no reason.
I don’t get it. When he plays, he’s good. But he doesn’t play. I get that he was an unexpected acquisition and maybe they don’t want to figure out how to implement him before he inevitably gets traded, but come on. It’s not like they’re winning games anyway, and it’s not like they have a ton of young bigmen who need development time.
I bet the Warriors could use him.
