Mario Chalmers 17 Points Full Highlights (1/22/2018)

Mario Chalmers cemented himself into basketball history by winning two championships with the Heat, and his cemented place in those hallowed halls is even more cemented than usual because he actually played well in those playoffs. A lot of scrub-type players will, by default, be noted in the history books as having won a ‘chip, but Chalmers was the full-time starting PG for both those teams AND had some big finals performance as the fourth banana behind LeBron, Wade, and Bosh (Shane Battier in 2012 and Mike Miller in 2013 were deifnitely the fifth bananas).

Since Chalmers was a moderately-important part of some championship teams, he gets to stick around in the league even though he’s chubby and inefficient now (sort of like Raymond Felton except with more playoff success). He can’t really shoot threes anymore, and when Mike Conley gets back his minutes will probably go back to nothing, but if anybody in the locker room ever calls him out on it he can just punch them in the face with his rings.
