Domantas Sabonis pretty much gave the Suns his Saboner in this game, except he didn’t even give them the full length. He gave them like half of his Saboner. They got a taste of it. Not the full load, but a taste.
They would have tasted more of Sabonis’ Lithuanian Flagpole, but Sabonis was taken out of the game halfway through the third quarter and never got back in. I’m betting he could have scored at least eight more points if given more time, maybe more. Oladipo and Bogdanovic were out there in the fourth, why not Lithuania’s Pride? Sure, Alex Poythress can use the court time, but he’s not the one who’s potentially going to score thirty if you leave him out there for long enough. Sabonis is that guy. Think how crazy Lithuania would have gone if he had gotten there.
It’s almost like NBA coaches don’t even know that their number one priority is making sure foreign players score large amounts of points so that I can get more views and subscribers on my YouTube channel.
