I will maintain until my dying breath that putting “Los Suns” on a jersey isn’t the greatest way to celebrate Hispanic culture. I’ll go even further and say what I think straight up: it’s stupid. “Los Suns”. They could at least put the “Suns” part in Spanish also, it’s not like people aren’t going to know what team they’re watching. “Nueva York” is stupider, somehow, but at least the Knicks weren’t wearing those jersey tonight.
And that is my mild take of the evening. Not offensive enough to be “hot”, but I can definitely imagine some people seeing it and being like “I disagree” or “wow, who cares”.
I do like the purple-ness of the jerseys though. It’s, uh, really purple. No compromises, just purple.
