Dennis Smith Jr. 16 Points/11 Assists Full Highlights (2/11/2018)

I think this is the best passing performance we have seen from Dennis Smith Jr., and it’s probably not close. The other times he’s had big assist games, it’s because he’s making dinky perimeter passes while Wesley Matthews cans threes. This game, he was throwing LOBS. Hella LOBS. He was throwing lobs to everybody: Dwight Powell, Maxi Kleber, and… that was actually about it. But still. Who else on that team could even hope to catch a lob anyway? Dennis himself can catch lobs, but it’s non-trivial to throw one to yourself from the three-point line to the rim.

I just had a sweet idea for something he could do in the dunk contest by the way.
