I know this is pretty much totally unrelated to anything to do with Yogi Ferrell, the Dallas Mavericks, or the modern NBA, but I want to apologize for not making highlights of Jerome Dyson scoring 24 points on April 18, 2012. I hadn’t started my channel yet, but there was no reason I shouldn’t have made highlights for my own personal use which I could then retroactively upload when I did get around to making my YouTube account. This was a big oversight, and I want to express how sincerely sorry I am.
That video would probably have 10,000 views by now. I need to make a list of all the performances I missed and get work securing footage of those games. There are holes in the DownToBuck archive that create corresponding holes in my heart.
Luckily, this footage of Yogi Ferrell scoring 20, while not supremely notable, will at least be documented for future generations to analyze should they so choose. Humanity’s cultural legacy, manifested in the form of Ferrell, will not be lost forever, assuming that YouTube lasts into perpetuity, which is a safe assumption. Definitely.
