Jason Terry 14 Points Full Highlights (2/23/2018)

I’ve been hard on Jason Terry this year, but for good reason: he was total poopy garbage for the first few months of the season. 1 point per game, 4 per 36, sub-20 percent from three, whenever he got in the game over Rashad Vaughn I stuck another pin in my Jason Kidd voodoo doll. But now Vaughn’s gone to his reward (Orlando), Malcolm Brogdon was assassinated by NCAA hitmen, and Terry hasn’t even been that bad. He still annoys me every time he tried to get the crowd fired up (dude did you realize that you were in Toronto it’s not going to work), but at least his on-court efforts don’t make me wish that my closet coffin-simulator was a real working model.

He basically doesn’t take two-pointers anymore, except when he inexplicably pulls up for a midrange jimbo on a fast break. In this game, he hit a bunch of threes without ever stepping inside the arc even a single time (I’m exaggerating but not really), including a super clutch semi-dagger in overtime after Giannis almost blundered the ball out of bounds. Add in some free throws made after DeRozan dunked it near the end of the game instead of shooting another three (oops), and you have his second-best performance as a member of the Bucks.

Congrats, dude. I still hate you and your stupid headband though.
